There are three main types of coffee treatment: sun, water, honey treatment.

Solarization is the direct exposure of coffee cherries before removing the shell and pectin layer;

The washing method involves sifting out the coffee pulp before exposure and fermenting to remove the pectin layer;

The honey treatment method is between the sun method and the washing method: sift out the coffee pulp and directly retain the pectin layer and expose it to the sun.

Water washing method (Washed):

Use washing and fermentation methods to remove the peel pulp and mucous membrane, using washing method farms must build washing tanks, and can introduce a continuous flow of fresh water.

When processing, the fermented beans are put into the pool and moved back and forth, using the friction of the beans and the power of the running water to wash the coffee beans until smooth and clean.

After washing, coffee beans are still wrapped in the endocarp, which has a moisture content of 50%. They must be dried to reduce the moisture content to 12%, otherwise they will continue to ferment and become moldy.

The better treatment is to use sunlight drying, although it takes 1 - 3 weeks, but the flavor is excellent and quite popular.
