The highest peak of Jamaica's Blue Mountains, at 2256 meters above sea level, is the highest peak in the Caribbean and a famous tourist attraction. It is located in the earthquake zone, with fertile volcanic soil, fresh air, no pollution, humid climate, foggy and rainy all the year round, with an average precipitation of 1980 mm and a temperature of about 27 degrees. It is precisely under such climatic conditions that Blue Mountain Coffee is such a sour, sweet, mellow and bitter coffee that is close to perfect.
In 1960, the blue mountain area of Jamaica was hit by a hurricane, and most of the estate facilities and coffee trees were destroyed. Fortunately, foreign capital, including Japan, provided great help to the struggling Blue Mountains of Jamaica at that time. As a result, Japan has acquired a majority stake in Blue Mountain Manor as well as preferential import rights. Japan accounts for 90% of Jamaica's blue mountain coffee imports, and other countries can only allocate it from the remaining 10%.
And Jamaica's coffee production has been low, harvesting about 40, 000 bags (60kg) a year, while Brazil, the world's largest coffee exporter, can harvest 30 million bags (60kg) a year. Because of the low output, the export share of coffee is almost monopolized by Japan, resulting in a shortage of Blue Mountain Coffee in other places except Japan. And signed the letter of intent of the sole distributor of Blue Mountain Coffee Raw beans in China on July 15, local time, during the cooperation period, at least 70 tons (70 kg standard wooden barrels in 1000 barrels) of Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee Raw beans were provided to China every year. On May 26, 2011, the first cabinet of raw beans of Blue Mountain Coffee arrived at the port of Ningbo, China.
