Qianjie-brief introduction of Coffee varieties and Iron pickup Coffee varieties
Arabica species
Arabica beans are an important kind of commercial coffee with a fruiting period of less than three years and a high-quality aroma and sour taste. Arabica coffee accounts for 75% or 80% of all coffee. The world-famous Blue Mountain Coffee and Mocha Coffee are almost all Arabica species.
Robusta species
Robusta species is one of the most important coffee tree varieties in the world. Robusta has a unique aroma and bitterness, accounting for only 2% to 3% of mixed coffee. It is generally used in instant coffee, bottled coffee, liquid coffee and other industrial production coffee, the caffeine content is about 3.2%, much higher than 1.5% of Arabica species.
Liberian species
West Africa, the country of origin of Liberian coffee, has a strong adaptability to high or low temperature, humidity or dryness, but it is not resistant to leaf rust and has a worse flavor than Arabica.
Ironka: it is a subvariety of Arabica species and was first transplanted to India, Indonesia and Central and South America from Yemen. The young leaves at the top of the tree are reddish brown rather than turquoise, the leaves are longer and narrower, and the distance between branches is longer, so they do not produce much fruit. The ancient tin card beans are larger and the bean body is longer, but transplanting to the new world also gives rise to more oval and smaller iron pickups. Although the taste of iron pickup is good, but the disease resistance is poor! For the old variety of small-grain coffee, its resistance to diseases and insect pests is not strong, the yield is less, and the cultivation is difficult, so the price is much higher than that of ordinary small-grain coffee. It is native to Ethiopia and southeastern Sudan and is the most widely cultivated variety of coffee in the Western Hemisphere. The plant is strong, but it is not resistant to light. The top leaf of the iron pickup is red copper, which is called red top coffee.
Knowledge expansion: iron pickup and Catimor planted on the same piece of land in the same baking degree and the same cooking conditions, the fruit acidity of iron pickup will be more obvious.
