The status of Santa Rosa Manor in El Salvador can be said to be like the existence of El Injerto in Guatemala. In the last five years of the Cup of Excellence competition, except for the suspension of 2016, Santa Rosa Manor won two championships, one third runner-up and the eighth place, especially the 2017 gold medal, which reached US $95.70 a pound, the highest gold medal in El Salvador's COE history.

Compared with the highest gold standard in the past, it is almost twice the record. This is also the first time that the current landowner Jorge Raul Rivera has entered the competition with his innovative honey method, which immediately conquered the taste buds of judges and buyers, and shocked the entire Salvadoran coffee industry. Santa Rosa Manor was bought by the current owner's father Jorge Raul Rivera (same name, 1938-2013) and Uncle Jose Roberto Rivera during the Salvadoran Civil War, except because the civil war was very difficult and the price of coffee was very low, so coffee was not grown at first.

When COE decided to start hosting it in El Salvador in 2002, they saw the opportunity for boutique coffee and decided to devote themselves to the cultivation of boutique coffee. Santa Rosa Manor is a coffee grower of Benga, whose love for Pacamara is hopeless and only grows Pacamara. Unfortunately, Jorge Raul Rivera died in May 2013 and did not have the chance to witness the glory of the estate he built to win the COE crown in 2014.

Although the current manor owner Jorge Raul Rivera III has been influenced by the manor farm since childhood, he has received education and can be said to be a financial genius with complete financial experience. After his father died in 2013, he resolutely decided to leave everything to inherit the family business to grow coffee. Coincidentally, the Zhuoyue Cup of 2014 immediately won the championship. It is another story that father and son share the same heart and fire. On the one hand, Jorge Raul Rivera III inherits the family tradition, and at the same time, it initiates a new trend.

Knowledge expansion: Pacamara is a hybrid of Tibika variety elephant bean and bourbon variety Pacas.
