This story.

The Guduba wet mill was established in 2012 and is located in the Hambela Wamena district of Western Gujarat, bordering the Gedeb area of Yirgacheffe. The wet mill, owned and managed by Eyasu Worasa, handles the harvest of nearly 600 nearby small farmers, each with only 1-2 hectares of land for growing coffee.

The origin of this kind of coffee is very high above sea level, which increases its sweetness, because cherries grow slowly at altitude. Its unique flavor is also attributed to the natural hybridization between family heirlooms that have grown in the wild in the region for thousands of years. This batch of products is mainly composed of Tu varieties Wolishu and Dega.

The cherries are sent to wet grinding and depilated, soaked in fresh water and fermented for 72 hours, then washed completely. We are impressed by the processing of Eyasu Worasa and hope you can enjoy this unique soft and sweet heirloom coffee.
