Qianjie-Kenyan Coffee introduction

Kenyan coffee, an unadded coffee with a strong natural acidity, reminiscent of oranges and cherries, has a rich taste and beautiful balance. It is famous in the coffee industry for its rich aroma, fresh and multi-layered acidity, full silky mellow and light red wine flavor.

The rich aroma of Kenyan coffee, with excellent medium purity, crisp and refreshing taste, a trace of acidity across the tip of the tongue, fresh flavor.

The coffee producing areas in Kenya are mainly concentrated in the plateau areas represented by Mount Kenya (with an average elevation of 1500-2100 meters). The year-round climate with suitable temperature and acid red volcanic soil as the growing land has made the best Kenyan coffee.

Kenyan coffee is usually picked by hand, and the picked fresh coffee fruit will be delivered to the cooperative cleaning station in time, where the washed and dried coffee will be sent to the cooperative in the form of "parchment coffee beans" (that is, coffee beans covered with endocarp). Fresh coffee beans make high quality Kenyan coffee.

The coffee industry occupies a very important position in Kenya, where all coffee beans are first acquired by the Kenya Coffee Commission (CoffeeBoardofKenya, or CBK), where they are identified, rated, and then sold at weekly auctions.

The best coffee grade is bean berry coffee (PB), followed by AA++, AA+, AA, AB and so on. The fine coffee is shiny, delicious and slightly alcoholic.

Kenya's coffee producing areas are most famous for their seven major producing areas, Thika, Kirinyaga, and the western side of Mount Kenya (Mt. Kenya West, Nyeri, Kiambu, Ruiri and Muranga.

Among them, the foothills of Mount Mt.Kenya and Aberdare are the main producing areas.

Knowledge: after the coffee is harvested, it must be uniformly purchased, tested and graded by the "Kenya Coffee Bureau (CBK)" set up by the government. The coffee grade is classified by "particle size" and graded according to size, shape and weight.
