Front Street-Antigua Coffee, Guatemala

Most coffee grown in Guatemala is Arabica. The treatment process is washing. Planted at heights ranging from 2,300 to 5,600 feet. Harvesting methods are almost entirely manual. Harvesting is possible throughout the year, but the main harvest period is July to April. Antigua produces some of Guatemala's best coffee, still has a traditional lifestyle and sits among three volcanoes. Coffee farmers from Antigua have a wealth of horticultural knowledge and are keen to produce great coffee.

Antigua

It is a famous coffee producer. Rich volcanic soil, low humidity, intense sunlight and cool evening winds are characteristic of Antigua. Three spectacular active volcanoes, and every 30 years or so, the area around Antigua suffers an eruption that provides more nitrogen to the already fertile land, and plenty of rain and sunshine to make the area more suitable for coffee cultivation. Not only is it of good quality, but if compared to other Latin American coffees, this coffee is quite complete, rich and amazing, and if you enjoy it with chocolate, there will be unexpected discoveries.

Antigua Valley is Guatemala's oldest and best-known coffee-producing region. Volcanoes and shallow water tables create a dry microclimate characterized by low humidity, plenty of sun and cool nights.

Flavor and taste characteristics: rich, rich and mellow taste, with tobacco flavor. The taste is smooth, slightly charcoal in the aromatic alcohol, just like the sweet taste of chocolate mixed with smoke, high viscosity. Because of this unique charcoal aroma, Antigua coffee is also known as "cigarette coffee".

Although it has a chocolate flavor, its texture is the real reason for its excellence. Note how Guatemala Antigua coffee feels on the tongue. Guatemala Antigua coffee is smoother and softer than the apparent acidity of the first choice coffee and breakfast blend coffee.
