Honduras Honduras
There are 280000 hectares of coffee plantations in Honduras. Honduras currently has about 565 million coffee trees, more than 95 per cent of which are small farms. More than 120000 households are involved in the production, most of which are less than 3.5ha, of which 70 per cent are less than 2ha each. These smallholder coffee plantations account for 60 per cent of the total coffee production in Honduras. Central farms account for about 3%, and large farms account for about 2%.
Since 2007, under the leadership of the IHCAFE Coffee Agency, Honduras has improved the coffee growing environment and raw bean processing equipment and improved the export efficiency of the port. Although the international market is still low-profile at that time, there has been a marked improvement. In terms of production, Honduran coffee was well-known in Central America from 2011 to 2012, harvesting about 3 million bags of coffee a year.
Molaud Manor Morod Manor
Muraud Manor is a locally grown Arabica coffee tree in Hondoras subproduction area Lempira (Lombilla). Its plants are small and generally grow to 3 feet tall, making them very easy to pick. In acidic soil and warm environment, the farm coffee beans are uniform in size, and the extracted coffee tastes smooth.
