El Salvador is a small country in Central America with a high population density while the country is very small. Even so, El Salvador is home to three world-famous volcanoes, and El Salvador is located in the tropics, which makes it possible for El Salvador to grow coffee.

The coffee produced in El Salvador is characterized by soft acidity and smooth taste.

The main varieties cultivated in El Salvador are the ancient varieties of bourbon and iron pickup, as well as the rare variety of coffee-Pacamara. Pakamara is a giant in the coffee industry, because it is 1/3 bigger than ordinary coffee beans, so it is also known as Elephant beans.

The Pacamara variety is a cross between Pacas and Marago Rippi, and the best place to grow is in the west of El Salvador. Pacamara variety has large and full particles, obvious aroma, moderate alcohol thickness and bright acidity.
