Treatment of rose honey from Abou ABU Manor in Panama (Panama ABU Geisha Honey)

ABU COFFEE is a rose variety grown in the Boquete Ca ñ asVerdes region of typical tropical forests in the humid and rainy microclimate. Coffee trees grow on the slopes of Mount Baru National Park with rich and deep soil, rich in organic matter and a good drainage system, reducing erosion.

The average altitude is 1550 meters. The shade of the farm is protected by growing native trees with rich local animals and plants and respecting the environment and biodiversity. In view of its strategic location, sunlight is a key element throughout the process. The plantation is exposed to strong solar radiation, disturbed in the morning and sunset by a soft tropical mist locally known as Poquet, and embraced by thick fog.

The harvest season begins in summer and lasts from December to March, with a few months of falling humidity, combined with natural shadows and Pokuit fog, to achieve a perfect balance of ripening. As a result, cherries reach their maximum potential and strengthen the sweetness in a good way, enriching the flavor of the grain.

The original rainforest where the ABU COFFEE plantation is located has a unique climate, which makes the rose summer coffee of ABU Manor have a unique mellow degree and characteristics, rich juicy aroma and fragrant floral aroma.

Although ABU COFFEE is a young rose-growing farm with only two years of production, it took part in the Best Panamanian Coffee Competition for the first time in 2017 and finished sixth with a score of 91.516 for its washed GEISHA RESERVA LUTTRELL.
