Colombian coffee background

Coffee was introduced into Colombia at the end of the 18th century and was developed for commercial operation in the 20th century. There are more than half a million coffee farms in Colombia (mostly on a small scale). The Andes provide a variety of microclimates that are conducive to the development of boutique coffee, but the terrain also limits the size of the farms. Steep hills are not good for machine farming, and exposed slopes without tree protection are vulnerable to erosion, so Colombia focuses its coffee production on quality, growing only Arabica coffee.

Colombian coffee beans are well-known in the world, and the high-quality water-washed beans have always been the representative of high-quality coffee. Coffee beans exported from Colombia, after specific gravity inspection and manual picking of defective beans, are bagged after layers of strict inspection, so the quality of Colombian coffee can be guaranteed.

Introduction to the Origin of Cymbidium in Colombia

The topography and climate of huila is blessed by God, the very good environment is about 1500-1900 meters above sea level, the farms here are small-scale, each farm is no more than three hectares, so farmers can also take better care of these coffee beans, which they are proud of. After the coffee here tends to be commercialized, it has set up a Club San Agustin, which measures the top 50 producers every year, because the beans here are produced by small farmers and will give agricultural assistance, such as soil testing, production advice, dry washing and other processes.

In addition to the nutty aroma and imported citrus flavor, the most important feature is the obvious sweet honey flavor and aftertaste, which can be more clearly felt after drinking water after drinking coffee.
