Introduction to the characteristics of Rosa Coffee beans in Duncan and Don K Manor of Kotowa Family in Panama
Orange Manor
The Orange Manor is a manor founded a hundred years ago by the owner's grandfather, Alexander Duncan. It is located in the "Jaramillo" microclimate zone on the right side of the Poquet Valley. Although it may seem low above sea level, every winter this area goes south through the mountains with a cold and humid climate, which always gives coffee a warm and calm sense of sweetness and excellent balance.

Don K Manor
Don K Manor is named in honor of the local owner's father, known as "Don Koyner". It is located in the "Volcan Baru" microclimate zone on the left side of the Poquet Valley. It is 1700 meters above sea level and is a standard high-altitude Panamanian coffee. This microclimate zone is very dry during the harvest season, which can concentrate the sugar content of berries to a very high level, making it very suitable for sun drying and honey treatment of coffee. Don K Manor faces north, there are strong winds blowing in winter and the sun is less intense. The produced coffee has a sharp acidity and a drupe flavor.

Duncan Manor
Duncan Manor is named in memory of the owner's grandfather and the founder of Kotowa Manor. It is adjacent to Don K Manor and belongs to the "Volcan Baru" microclimate zone on the left side of the valley. Duncan Manor is 1750 meters above sea level. Duncan Manor and Don K Manor are the same mountain, but Duncan Manor is a hillside facing south. Because it is located on the leeward and sunny side, it is more suitable for growing high-quality coffee! In general, Duncan Manor shows the fineness of high-altitude coffee on the side of the Baru volcano than its neighboring Don K estate, often with aromas of flowers / honey / citrus and preserves, with a more smooth and delicate style. Generally speaking, the overall performance is better than that of Don K.
