Qingxin Manor, Villa Province, Colombia introduces Colors of Nature
Fresh Manor (Buenos Aires Farm)
Buenos Aires Farm is located in the town of St. Augustine, south of Huila. The owner, Miguel Angel Botina, now 43, bought the land five years ago and began growing coffee with his wife, Doria Emilila Diz.
The manor is as high as 1790 meters above sea level, with a large temperature difference between day and night, coupled with fertile clay, providing a good coffee growing environment. The manor covers an area of about 3 hectares, and the main planting variety is Caturra, with an annual output of 4500 kilograms. It is a typical small coffee farmer.
From the very beginning, Qingxin Manor worked with Colors of Nature to join the production of boutique coffee. Miguel, the owner of the estate, is glad that his coffee is already a world-class boutique coffee and is satisfied with this kind of income.
Colors of Nature
Andres Felipe was born into a poor family in Colombia. with his talent and efforts, he received scholarship funding to study in Colombia / Japan / France and received a degree in marine biology and botany.
Felipe felt that poverty suppresses people's talent and character. In 2007, he returned to his hometown and joined the revolution in the production of boutique coffee with small farmers.
"Education" is the first thing to promote the production of boutique coffee, teaching farmers how to take care of coffee trees, produce organic fertilizers and harvest high-quality coffee cherries. Wait.
All in all, Felipe believes that doing a good job in "field management" is the first step in the production of boutique coffee; "research" is another subject. In recent years, Felipe has established Colors of Nature to study all aspects of boutique coffee production, including seedling cultivation, planting, harvest, follow-up treatment, and so on. Only when coffee is really upgraded to the quality level can it be sold at a good price internationally, and small farmers will have a chance to lift themselves out of poverty.
