The Coca processing Plant (Koke Washing Station) was established in 2011 and is located about 6 km southwest of the town center of Yirgacheffe Woreda, about 1870-1900 m above sea level, named after it because it is located in the village of Koke Kebele.

At present, there are 96 cooperative farmers in the treatment plant, all of whom are small coffee farmers who have passed on for several generations. the planting area is generally 1-2 hectares, which is mixed with other cash crops in addition to coffee trees, so that in addition to the coffee season, there can be other harvests that can balance the income of farmers.

Although the Coca processing plant was established for a short time, it is keen to pursue the production technology of fine coffee. In addition to improving the planting quality of cooperative small farmers, it has also invested a lot in the latter stage of treatment. This batch is to add honey treatment skills to the traditional sun treatment method. Peel and retain pectin after two days of sun exposure, and then continue to dry in the sun for 18-21 days, in order to create a richer level of sweetness. Therefore, it is called "Koke Honey".

Koke itself is actually a small area, located a few miles northeast of Yegashafi, nearly 6000 feet above sea level. Many people believe that the highest quality coffee is grown in this mountain area.

Koka has the charming floral aroma of traditional Yega, and there are sweet peaches and slight blueberries in the middle. The last thing that stays in the nose is the sour aroma of citrus and lemon, with a sour and sweet tail, mainly that aroma, as if accidentally pouring perfume into the mouth.
