Filter and hang coffee brewing method how to make coffee powder tastes good at the best water temperature
Filter hanging is basically a convenient product that grinds coffee beans into powder and packages them together with filter paper, so the extraction principle is exactly the same. Since it is exactly the same, the water quality, water temperature and the way of hand flushing will also affect the extraction rate and concentration.
But wait a minute, isn't it convenient to filter the coffee? Why is it so troublesome?
What kind of water is suitable for strained coffee?
In fact, like hand-brewed coffee, we don't want to use reverse osmosis or water that removes too many minerals. So if you use hot water from reverse osmosis in your home, office, etc., it is recommended to boil tap water or use bottled mineral water (Bohr water is great) to brew and filter coffee.
Do not "directly" use the water dispenser to filter the coffee.
The advantage of the water cooler is that it has a temperature display on it, so you know how far it is from the 92 degrees Celsius we want, and then intuitively cool it for 30 seconds or a minute or two.
Generally speaking, however, the temperature of the water cooler is not very accurate, so you can test the coffee for the first time and then decide whether to cool the hot water later.
But do not directly "unlock", "please use hot water" into your filter, too strong hot water will disturb the whole extraction process. Therefore, please put the hot water in another cup first, preferably a graduated cup with a mouth. Only in this way can you know how much water you have added, so that it will not be too far from the ideal extraction rate and concentration.
And a mug with a mouth is more convenient for you to control how much water is added. If you add strong coffee, it will be weaker, and if you add slow extraction time, the coffee will be stronger. If you have cut off the water, that is, stop after adding to a certain amount, and wait for the current to go down before adding the next amount of water, which will be thicker. You can adjust it according to your personal preference.
You should fix most of the variables to improve slowly.
What does this sentence mean?
This sentence applies to hand flushing and filter hanging, anyway, filter hanging is only a deformed hand punch.
It means that beginners first make coffee according to the method on the Internet or in books, and first fix the water quality, water temperature, equipment, flushing time, etc., preferably even coffee beans.
If this makes good coffee, that's great! Congratulations!
But if you are not satisfied with the brewed coffee, please change one item at a time, for example, only change the method of brewing at a time, change the water quality next time, etc., please do not adjust a lot at a time, otherwise how do you know which factor makes your coffee taste better? Or get worse, XD.
Finally, a little reminder, everyone's water dispenser, water quality, cup condition are different, be sure to try to find their own delicious coffee equation!
