Blue Mountain Coffee will begin solarization trials in 2019, and small batches of solarized Blue Mountain coffee will be exported for the first time in 2020. The two Blue Mountain No.1 coffees in this comparison are from Clifton Farm in the Blue Mountain region of Jamaica. The farm has an average altitude of 1310 meters. Coffee was first grown in the mid-18th century. It is a historic farm in Jamaica that still operates normally today. And Clifton Farm is the only coffee farm in Jamaica certified by the Rainforest Alliance.

Brewing method: 30 grams of water for 30 seconds, and then a small water flow center slowly outward circle water injection 100 grams, that is, electronic scale display 130 grams. Then, when the powder layer drops to 1/2, 65 grams of water is injected into the large water flow, reaching a total water volume of 195 grams. After all the coffee liquid in the filter cup flows into the next pot, remove the filter cup and end the extraction. The total brewing time is 1 minute 50 seconds.

Compared with the two Blue Mountain No.1, the sun-dried Blue Mountain has a stronger flavor hierarchy, and the sweetness and acidity give a very comfortable feeling; while the washed Blue Mountain maintains the unique taste of the classic Blue Mountain, which is smooth, bright and mellow. The delicate balance between sweet and sour is admirable.
