The filter cup has a limited load! Qianjie daily products mostly use V6001small filter cup, which is suitable for brewing coffee for 1-2 people. The recommended powder dosage for this type of filter cup is 13g-20g, and the best powder dosage is 15-17g.
In the process of water injection, coffee powder will be evenly distributed around the cup wall with the rise of water level to reduce the thickness of the powder layer and make coffee extraction more uniform. If the amount of powder is too small, there is not enough coffee powder evenly distributed on the cup wall, and some water flows directly along the cup wall into the next pot of diluted coffee liquid without extracting the coffee material, and finally the coffee tastes insipid. If the amount of powder is too large, the filter cup does not have enough area to allow the coffee powder to be evenly distributed on the cup wall, which will cause the powder layer to be too thick and prolong the flow of water through the coffee powder, resulting in an unpleasant astringency in the coffee.

Under normal circumstances, 20g of coffee powder is brewed at 1:15, and the weight of the final coffee liquid is about 275g. It is enough for 3-4 people to share it. It is also a trick to boil 20g powder with V6001filter cup! Do not directly quote the cooking parameters of 15-17g powder! Due to the increase in the amount of powder, the thickness of the coffee powder layer is bound to increase, and the passing speed of water will slow down. In order to avoid excessive release of coffee substances caused by the increase of extraction time, we need to adjust the degree of grinding and brewing methods!
"Adjustment of grinding degree"! Since the flow channel becomes narrower due to the decrease of the space between coffee particles due to the increase of coffee powder, we can thicken the grinding degree a little bit to increase the gap between the particles. That's for sure! We can't thicken it by a big margin. Take the medium and shallow roasted coffee beans as an example, Qianjie uses the China 20 standard screen screening rate of 80% (fine granulated sugar thickness) when brewing 15g coffee powder every day, and if you brew 20g coffee powder, the screening rate of Chinese 20 standard sieve can be used (75% between fine sugar and coarse sugar).
