The increase in the amount of powder means that the parameters closely related to it will also change, that is, the amount of water injection will increase proportionally, and the time of water injection will increase accordingly. However, there is one condition that will affect the upper limit of the amount of coffee powder, and that is the filter cup.
In view of the fact that the filter cup we start with is a 01 filter cup (small size) of 1-2 people, normal brewing should not exceed 20g powder, if you want to brew more powdered coffee, the easiest and direct way is to buy a No. 02 filter cup and No. 02 filter paper (yes, the filter cup and filter paper to match), this large filter cup can simply brew 40 grams of coffee powder.
In fact, large amount of powder is more inclusive and has a higher fault tolerance rate in the way of water injection. For example, when cooking a small amount of powder (15g), it often causes a bad flavor because of irregular water flow, uneven circle, brewing powder wall and so on. With the increase of the amount of powder, the impact of these becomes less great. If you are cooking with No. 02 filter cup, you only need to change the parameters proportionally. For a demonstration here on the front street, use No. 02 filter cup to brew 30g coffee powder. When injecting water, you can follow the principle of three-stage water injection, and the flow should be larger when injecting water, so that the powder layer can be raised and the cooking model of No. 01 filter cup can be restored. If you do not have No. 02 filter cup, but want to make a large amount of powdered coffee, there is a good chance that the following will happen.
The filter cup cannot hold coffee powder and water and is about to overflow. So can't a small filter cup make a large amount of powdered coffee? Not necessarily, as long as the parameters are adjusted properly, it is also possible. Because of the limitation of the cup, we can't inject too much water at one time, otherwise it will overflow. Therefore, Qianjie is recommended to use multi-stage and small amount of water injection. And we don't want the water to soak in the powder layer for too long to produce a bitter taste. Therefore, the degree of grinding will be thicker than normal, and the pass rate of the No. 20 screen is about 70%. Let the coffee brewing process achieve the real "scour drip filtration extraction". The temperature of the water remains the same. The front street is brewed with 30g coffee powder, using the V6001filter cup. First of all, the water steam injected into 50ml for 35 seconds, due to the increase in the amount of powder, the powder layer is relatively thick, so it is necessary to adapt to extend the steaming time and let the coffee powder exhaust gas. In the middle of the second section, the amount of water injected into 100ml around a small circle should be controlled according to the degree of expansion of the coffee powder layer to avoid overflow.
After the water level drops, the amount of water injected into 100ml in the third stage (which is larger than the second stage) also needs to be prevented from overflowing. After the water level drops, the fourth stage (larger than the third stage) injects a larger amount of 100ml. The water of the last section of 100ml is injected vertically into the center. The total amount of water injected into 450ml is about 3 minutes.
