On the 24th, the 4th China Mangshi Coffee Culture Festival kicked off in Mangshi, Yunnan Province. More than 300 coffee industry people from more than 20 countries and regions and more than 10 provinces and cities in China have gathered in Mangshi to promote the development of coffee in China.

The Coffee Culture Festival attracted people from more than 20 countries, including Germany, Russia, Japan, Turkey and so on. Relevant domestic coffee research institutions and dozens of coffee enterprises in Yunnan gathered in Mangshi.
The International Coffee Business Forum held on the afternoon of the 24th is the highlight of this Coffee Culture Festival.
The reporter learned from the forum that at present, the consumption structure of coffee in the world has gradually shifted from drinking instant coffee to consuming freshly ground coffee; from medium-grain coffee with strong taste, which preferred to drink high caffeine in the past, to small-grain coffee with low caffeine and soft taste. This has brought opportunities for the development of small seed coffee in Yunnan, where coffee has been active in the European market and the American market.
Yunnan has become one of the major coffee producing areas in the world. Up to now, the planting area of coffee in Yunnan has exceeded 1.6 million mu, and the output of coffee in Yunnan is expected to exceed 120000 tons in this harvest season. However, so far, Yunnan coffee is still in the extensive stage of development, coffee cultivation, processing, trade, brand building are still in the initial stage. With the continuous improvement of Yunnan coffee's international and domestic popularity, Yunnan coffee needs more display platforms.
Although, China's coffee consumption is growing rapidly at a rate of more than 20% a year. However, if Chinese coffee is to be in line with the world, experts and scholars believe that the development of coffee in China also needs to gradually concentrate coffee production and cultivation, realize diversified marketing models, and develop into a small, simple and popular coffee shop. Launch coffee joining restaurants, coffee carts, coffee joining minibuses and other marketing models. And do a good job in brand management, only by doing a good job in brand building, Chinese coffee can go to the international market.
During the fourth Mangshi Coffee Culture Festival in China, Hougu Coffee, the leading brand of Yunnan coffee, revealed that another 20,000 tons of coffee production line will be built and is expected to be completed and put into production by the end of 2016. At that time, Hougu Coffee will become the largest instant coffee manufacturer in Asia.
