According to Shen Peiping, Pu'er accounts for 58% of China's coffee production and 60% of Yunnan Province. Because Yunnan Province accounts for 98% of China's total coffee production. Shen Peiping said that there are two reasons why Pu'er has such good coffee but is not known to people. First, in the past, all the good coffee in Pu'er was acquired by international enterprises such as Nestl é and Starbucks, and used in their coffee blending raw materials. Therefore, Pu'er has not formed an independent product.

Second, the current sales of coffee in the world is 8 million tons, while Pu'er is only about 30, 000 tons, and the small quantity also limits its spread speed. At present, Pu'er is increasing by 150000 tons a year, and it is estimated that 100000 tons of coffee can be completed in five years, forming a product of great depth and an output value of tens of billions of yuan by then.

Shen Peiping also said that now Pu'er also has its own brand, Aishi Coffee, which is made in accordance with Starbucks standards in cooperation with an American company, and is now on the market.
