Generally speaking, the container for storing coffee beans has a rubber ring pad on the inside of the lid. After roasting, the coffee beans are easy to emit aroma and absorb the surrounding smell. Therefore, the coffee beans should be preserved in a sealed bottle.

Use more methods:

Exposure to air accelerates the oxidation of coffee beans. As coffee beans decrease, the gap in the container becomes larger and larger, and some materials such as cotton should be filled into the container to reduce excess space. Coffee beans will be placed in high temperature and humidity, coffee beans surface will ooze oil, at this time, coffee beans have been oxidized, aroma loss, flavor is no longer. When preserving coffee beans, avoid direct light and avoid placing them near high temperature places such as heaters.

Roasted coffee beans can be kept fresh for up to two weeks at room temperature. Refrigeration will prolong the retention period and keep it fresh for about a month. However, when the refrigerator is opened to take coffee, the temperature difference with the outside will produce water mist, thus accelerating the deterioration of coffee beans. When refrigerated or frozen, coffee beans can be divided into small portions in food bags or plastic wrap, and the required amount can be taken out when using. At the same time, wait until the coffee beans return to normal temperature before grinding.
