Yesterday, the reporter learned from the Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Commission that Yuxin Europe Logistics Company has signed the Yuxin Europe Post Valley Coffee International Transport Cooperation Project, which plans to gather nearly 1 million tons of coffee to Chongqing within five years and transport it from Yuxin Europe to Europe.

Drinking coffee is a living habit of many Europeans. The annual consumption of coffee in Europe is about 3 million tons. In this region that is keen on drinking coffee but does not produce coffee, 1/3 of coffee will be transported from Chongqing to local countries by Chongqing-Xinou Railway.

According to a relevant person in charge of the Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Commission, the signed Chongqing-Xinou Post-Valley Coffee International Transport Cooperation Project will be officially launched next year, striving to gather 1/3 (nearly 1 million tons) of European coffee to Chongqing within five years, using Chongqing as a bridgehead. 1 million tons of Hougu coffee will be transported to Europe through the "Chongqing New Europe" railway.

Once this project is officially launched, it will greatly guarantee the number of trains running in Yuxin Europe, coupled with the Yuxin Europe imported vehicle return international transport project, it will enhance the guarantee of the supply of goods for the return journey of "Yuxin Europe".

For a long time, many people think that Brazilian coffee is the main source of coffee in Europe and the United States, but in fact, a large part of the coffee supply, including Starbucks and Nestl é, comes from Yunnan. The coffee that will be gathered by our city to Europe this time comes from Yunnan.

Starbucks and Nestl é especially like coffee in high-altitude mountain areas of Yunnan. " The person in charge of the Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Commission said that the coffee planting area of the post-valley coffee involved in the project is more than 100, 000 mu, and there is also the country's largest instant coffee production line with an annual output of 3000 tons.
