The survey shows that nearly seven Chengdu people suffer from gastrointestinal disorders syndrome, including intestinal dysfunction, stomachache, stomach distension and so on. Journalists, lawyers, advertisers and other white-collar workers are all high-risk people.

Hou Xiaohua, a professor in the Department of Gastroenterology of Wuhan Union Hospital, analyzed that white-collar workers have a fast pace of life, fierce competition, irregular diet and great psychological pressure, which can easily lead to gastrointestinal disorders. Due to the uncertainty of three meals, many people choose to prepare potato chips, strong tea, coffee and other refreshing cravings, but even more harmful to the intestines and stomach.

How to prevent stomach trouble? Hou Xiaohua suggests that it is best to eat 4-7 hours between meals, and usually eat more food that is easy to digest and has the effect of invigorating the spleen and stomach. When you feel uncomfortable with your stomach, you should eat less and eat more, mainly soft food, such as soft rice, pasta, gruel, lotus root powder, soybean milk and so on. Usually diet should be regular, avoid raw and cold, dry and fried foods, such as raw radish, persimmon, fried peanuts, fried fish, roast chicken and so on.

The beer, strong tea and coffee that white-collar workers often drink will increase stomach acid and affect ulcer healing. If you have too much acid in your stomach, you should not eat sour food, such as vinegar, preserved plum, lemon and sour apple. Peppers, mustard, pepper and other irritating foods should also be eaten less, which will stimulate ulcer and cause epigastric pain.
