How to lock the fragrance and preserve roasted coffee beans

The preservation of coffee beans is very important for the quality of coffee, but it is not difficult to do, as long as we pay a little attention, we can better preserve coffee beans.
Avoid light
The container for coffee should be opaque or semi-transparent like a red wine bottle.
Seal
Sealing is very important for the preservation of coffee. Only under sealed conditions can the oxidation rate of coffee be slowed down. We generally use sealing cans, sealing strips and sealing clips to achieve sealing.
Strange smell
Coffee has a strong adsorption capacity for peculiar smell, especially fine coffee is more sensitive. Peculiar smell not only refers to stinky smell, rotten smell, etc., but also peculiar smell for coffee, so coffee must be kept separately and cannot be placed in the same sealed jar with other items, including different varieties of coffee beans.
You don't have to put it in the refrigerator.
Many friends like to keep coffee in the refrigerator, in fact, it is not very helpful to the preservation of coffee, it is easier to taste in the refrigerator, and when the coffee is taken out of the refrigerator, coffee beans are also damp when the condensed water naturally formed from low temperature to room temperature, so it is generally not recommended to put coffee beans in the refrigerator.
Buy on demand, the less the better
Try to buy the amount of coffee you can drink within half a month. If you drink at home, you'd better choose small packages of coffee beans. Don't try to be cheap.
Lazy person preservation method-packing bag + sealing clip
The bags of most high-quality coffee beans are protected from light and sealed, and if they are freshly roasted coffee beans, there will be an one-way breathable valve on them, which can discharge the gas released by the coffee beans in the bag. this is beyond the reach of sealed cans. So under normal circumstances, we can directly use the sealing clip to clip the unsealed bag, and then put it in a place where the light will not be directed to it.
