The Rongbaozhai Coffee Tree House Award Bookstore built by Archstudio mixes with the coffee shop to attract more readers with a compound business model and a variety of experiences. In order to change the heavy and stereotyped image of traditional bookstores, the new design uses transparent and lightweight iron bookshelves to integrate functions, transportation, equipment and lighting, and places green plants into them. make the new internal space interface more continuous, open and vibrant. Based on the original column network of the building, the interior presents a circular spatial structure: the central area is an island space and the periphery is a wall of iron bookshelves. The central island on the first floor serves as a cashier and coffee counter; the second floor is surrounded by dimming glass to form a glowing box as a conference room. Dimming glass can change the transparency inside and outside, making the use of the conference room more flexible. The central island forms uniform overall lighting through soft-film ceilings, just like indoor lanterns, while cafes are scattered around the center.
