In the extraction process, the three steps of filling, leveling and pressing are particularly dependent on hand skills; as long as the force is slightly different, the taste will immediately change. Therefore, it is important to perform these three steps with the same force each time.

However, these three steps do not have to follow the following tips to do, if you can slowly discover the most suitable for their own operation, the same can make delicious coffee taste unchanged.

Step 1:

1. Fix the brewing handle

Install the brewing handle with filter on the special support of bean grinder. As long as you hold the brewing handle and really fix it on the special bracket, you can aim at the position where the coffee powder falls, and you won't fall everywhere.

2. Uniform powder filling

Fill the brewing handle with coffee powder. Try to distribute the coffee powder uniformly in the filter and slowly accumulate it into a hill. If the protruding part at the top is located in the center of the handle, it is the most ideal state.

3. Fill the pores

Lift the handle slightly and gently shake it up and down to fill the invisible gap. As a result, the density of the coffee powder becomes higher, and the amount of coffee actually filled in the filter increases.

Step 2:

1. First flatten one-half of the coffee powder

Hold the grip of the brewing handle with your left hand, starting from the outer edge far away from you, as if stroking coffee powder, and gently level the coffee powder with the index finger of your right hand. Continue moving in your direction until you reach the center line of the brewing handle.

2, change to the opposite direction of leveling coffee powder

Instead, start from the inner edge line close to yourself and continue to flatten the remaining coffee powder with the index finger in the opposite direction to (1).

3. Remove excess coffee powder

The right index finger continues to smooth the coffee powder from the inside out until it reaches the outer edge of the brewing handle, removing excess coffee powder.

4. Clean up residual coffee powder

Tap the brew handle gently to remove coffee powder from the rim. Especially in the place where the espresso machine is joined, it is most likely to have coffee powder residue, and it is cleaned up as much as possible at this time.

Step 3:

1. Confirm the leveling status

Make sure that the coffee powder is evenly dense and that there are no gaps near the edges.

2. Put on the pressure filler

Fix the brewing handle firmly on a flat table surface, then place the filler vertically from directly above.

3. Press hard

Press the coffee powder firmly with a press in a vertical direction.

4. Pick up the pressure filler

Gently lift the tamper until it is completely detached from the brewing handle.

5. Press again from above

Press hard again with the pressure applicator from directly above.

6. Gently rotate the pressure filler

Gently rotate the press to smooth out the surface of the coffee powder.

7. Clean the coffee powder on the edge

Clean the coffee powder from the edges with your fingers.

8. Remove excess coffee powder

Turn the brewing handle upside down to allow excess coffee powder to fall out of the filter.
