Vancouver has opened a new cat cafe, and unlike other pet-themed cafes, customers may be able to pick up their favorite cats directly from here.

The owner, Fairbach, told us that the number of cats remained at 8 to 12. They are all rescued street cats. It turns out that the cafe cooperates with local animal protection agencies to get back docile relatives from there, suitable for cats as pets.

This combination of adoption and leisure seems to be very popular. Less than a month after opening, demand for cats exceeds supply, and the only three cats left have been booked.

Fairbach says the cafe receives up to 16 customers at the same time. Each customer stays in the cafe for one hour at a charge of $5.
