If there's one coffee that brings cool sea breezes and ancient Asian psychedelic aromas on a hot summer day, it's Thai iced coffee. Very strong coffee mixed with ice cubes, cardamom, a spice native to the East Indies, with cream and sugar, makes a cup of Thai iced coffee that instantly takes you to Phuket under the sun and sea breeze. Do you know how iced coffee is made? Let's take a look at how to make iced coffee with yjbys!

First, prepare a strong coffee.

You can choose to roast coffee beans deeply and grind them for later use. Generally speaking, the amount of coffee used to make Thai iced coffee is half or twice as much as the amount used to make regular coffee. Then put the coffee on a strainer with fresh green cardamom and rinse to extract the coffee. The extracted coffee can be cooled for a while and allowed to cool naturally.

Dissolve 1 - 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar in a small amount of coffee in a tall glass, add 5 - 6 ice cubes, and then pour the prepared coffee into the glass, not too much, and the liquid is about 2 cm from the edge of the glass.

Insert a teaspoon into the coffee and drizzle whipped cream over the handle. This is done so that the cream floats better on the surface of the iced coffee without spreading out quickly. Finally, take out the spoon, insert a straw, decorate a bright-colored paper umbrella, you can enjoy.

At low temperatures, strong coffee and fresh cream are diluted with ice water, you taste cool, sweet and light coffee taste, but after a few minutes, you will suddenly find that there is a faint smell of spices reverberating in the mouth and mind, gently take a breath, do you smell the salty sea breeze?

There's a slight twist to this recipe. If you don't like cream floating on ice, you can replace cream and sugar with condensed milk, first at the bottom of the glass, then coffee, preferably ice. If you go to Thailand, you often see this practice, but the difference is that Thais still put floating cream on the ice.

To make the coffee stronger, some people also mix the coffee powder with cardamom and put it in the espresso pot to make espresso coffee.
