"inadvertently insert willow into shade". In 1948, Li Fusheng, the 87-year-old village head, started 43 families in the village to plant more than 80 mu of coffee, but most of them froze to death due to a snowstorm in 1984, leaving only 13 mu of ancient coffee forest. When the guests arrive in Zhukula village, first of all, the simple people do not offer you cigarettes or tea, but hand-deliver the original coffee made by the unique dry processing cannon picked from the coffee tree and passed on for a century. Drinking coffee has been a habit of every family in Zhukula village from old to young.

"the Taste of Binchuan", filmed and broadcast by CCTV on July 31, 2012, introduced in detail the ecological environment of Zhukula Village "listening to sheep drinking coffee", which was called "unique and rich original ecological coffee culture". Zhukula Village of Binchuan is also known as "the source of Chinese coffee" and "China's important agricultural cultural heritage". According to Professor Chen Dexin, a Chinese coffee expert, it is called "the golden belt of coffee cultivation" within 25 degrees of the Tropic of Cancer. In the Zhukula Valley, it belongs to a dry-hot valley with a latitude of 26.2, high altitude, large temperature difference, sufficient sunshine, clean water source, and sufficient accumulation of coffee nutrients, which is the microclimate environment on which the Zhukula ancient coffee forest lived for more than 100 years.

Origin

Zhukula Village is more than 40 kilometers away from Pingchuan Town and takes a 3-hour drive. In June 2011, Ms. Wan Xuejun, Chairman of Binchuan Plateau Organic Agriculture Development Co., Ltd., entered Zhu Kula for the first time and was shocked by more than 1000 ancient coffee forests of 13 mu and the original custom of drinking coffee in the whole village. Zhukula village's poverty and backwardness even pulled her. From then on, no matter where she was, the call from the deep mountains of Zhu Kula village always drove her to face the difficulties calmly.

Last year, the author attended the statewide rural tourism work conference organized by the Dali Prefecture Tourism Commission in Binchuan. After the meeting, all the participants received a box of "Binchuan Zhukula Coffee" gift box products developed and produced by Binchuan Plateau Organic Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. The author only knows the concept of coffee as a refreshing product, but I don't know much about it. I usually drink one or two cups with friends occasionally, but there is no special research. Back at Xiaguan, the author gave "Binchuan Zhukula Coffee" to my coffee-loving friends. Unexpectedly, a few days later, my friend came to the office excitedly to tell me: "Binchuan Zhukula Coffee has a special taste and mellow taste, and I especially like to drink it." Unexpectedly, the inadvertently "Binchuan Zhukula Coffee" could make friends who like drinking coffee so attentive, so the author decided to go to Binchuan Zhukula Village to find out.

Wan Xuejun and Zhu Kula coffee originated in January 2011, when Wan Xuejun and a friend drove from Beijing to Xishuangbanna to visit their uncle who came to develop and build a golf course, during which they made a special drive to Dali for sightseeing. This friend of Wan Xuejun went to visit his brother and got to know an Italian overseas Chinese who was in financial trouble growing coffee in Binchuan. In a small restaurant in the ancient city of Dali, overseas Chinese in Italy talked about his arduous journey of growing coffee, which made Wan Xuejun feel rosy. At that time, she thought that drinking coffee would be very romantic, and that kind of coffee would be even more romantic. Wan Xuejun asked the overseas Chinese, "how much money do you need? I'll grow it with you." Overseas Chinese in Italy replied, "there is still a shortfall of several million yuan." At that time, overseas Chinese in Italy did not take it seriously, and he could not associate the girl from Beijing with a poodle and a horse herder with farming. It was not until Wan Xuejun put the money into his account that the overseas Chinese living in Italy woke up.

Wan Xuejun had no idea that the first phase of opening up 5000 mu of wasteland, and three months later, 23000 mu of wasteland also started, reclaiming wasteland and spending money like running water. by the end of 2012, the company had invested more than 70 million yuan. In the end, the overseas Chinese in Italy could not hold on for various reasons and withdrew his funds and left the company in July 2012.
