Camilo Merizalde, a well-known owner who has been experimenting with boutique coffee cultivation in Colombia for many years, in addition to Finca Santuario (Saint Ario Manor) and Finca Inmaculada, began to develop his new estate Las Nubes (Cloud Manor) in 2010. In the early days of the manor, Camilo chose some of the rarest coffee varieties in the world, such as Rosa and pointed bourbon. In addition to these excellent traditional varieties, Camilo also introduces Sudan Rume varieties (or RS-510) from Boma Plateau Villa, Sudan.

Sudan Rume

Sudan Rume belongs to an earlier variety than Tibika and Bourbon in genealogical analysis.

Because Sudan Rume is mainly cultivated in Sudan and Ethiopia, its rich gene pool has attracted scholars to study its own disease resistance genes for many years. However, due to the fact that the yield is less than that of other varieties, it has not been popular in coffee producing countries for many years. Compared with the traditional common Rosa flavor, Sudan Rume has a relatively rare but rich typical taffy, caramel flavor, but also has a thicker mellow performance.
