Drinking coffee before and after exercise has anti-cancer effect.
As we all know, regular exercise has many benefits, and drinking coffee in moderation is also good for your health. According to the Daily Mail of April 4, a new study announced at the annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research in Chicago found that drinking coffee before and after exercise can also prevent cancer. The reason is that the combination of caffeine and exercise can help reduce the risk of skin cancer.
Animal experiments have found that "exercise plus caffeine" can reduce the number of skin cancer tumors in experimental mice by 62% and reduce tumors by 85%. The new research leader, Dr. Yaoping Lu of the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University, said researchers in animal experiments have found that "caffeine exercise" therapy can reduce the risk of skin cancer caused by sun exposure. Scientists speculate that this treatment can also benefit mankind greatly.
Both caffeine and exercise have health benefits, but when the two are combined, they are more effective. The study found that compared with untreated mice, caffeinated mice had 27% lower skin cancer and 61% smaller tumors. Compared with the non-exercise mice, the skin cancer and tumor size of the exercise mice decreased by 35% and 70%, respectively. Caffeine exercise not only increased the percentage of these two items, but also reduced the weight of mice fed a high-fat diet by 63%.
Dr. Lu's analysis pointed out that the most important point of "caffeine exercise" in reducing the risk of skin cancer is that the treatment can reduce the risk of inflammation by 92%.
