Analysis of taste characteristics and flavor Shangri-La coffee beans in Panamanian coffee market
The farmers are highly educated, and the first coffee growers in Panama were engineers and professional managers immigrated from Europe. Their descendants were almost all American-educated and proficient in English. At the same time, they also have a deep study of agricultural technology. Coupled with hard work, this knowledge has been applied to the Panamanian coffee industry.
Ka farmers are so aware of the quality of their coffee that they can test and score their own cups, and then recommend specific baking curves to buyers, and they are very confident about the price they set for their coffee.
The first batch of coffee exported by Panama each year starts in November, and almost all high-quality coffee beans are shipped to France and Finland. Generally speaking, the price of Panamanian coffee belongs to the low and medium price, but its performance in the cup is often as good as that of any famous or even expensive coffee producing area. Panamanian specialty coffee has one of the highest prices in the international market. The earliest coffee tree in Panamanian history was brought in by a British captain who married a Panamanian girl in the 19th century (Rosa coffee was introduced to Panama in the mid-20th century). They first grew coffee in coastal areas. Later, when the colonists introduced coffee to the valleys of the western highlands where coffee was more suitable for growth, Panama's achievements in growing coffee were not always as brilliant as it is now, and it took a lot of time from the introduction of coffee to finding a suitable development path for the country. Panama has an ideal environment for coffee to grow, pozzolanic soil, good moisture and sun balance.
Panamanian coffee grows at an altitude of more than 1400 meters, and the low temperature will make the coffee grow longer, which is more conducive to the development of flavor and aroma.
The biodiversity here is very valuable, almost all coffee is grown in shade, the pristine rainforest provides a living environment for birds and other wild animals, but also provides protection, irrigated crops fully use natural water sources.
