Creative and New uses of Coffee grounds
Nowadays, many people like to drink coffee, but few people know that for every 350 ml cup of freshly ground coffee, about 20 grams of coffee grounds are produced. When coffee grounds are discarded, landfill or incinerated with other rubbish, it not only increases the cost of garbage disposal, but also aggravates Greenhouse Effect of the Earth. On the other hand, Xingeng Workshop, a social organization located in Changhe Commonweal Square, Twin Towers Street, Jiangsu District, has its own set of tricks for dealing with coffee grounds.
Recently, Xingeng Workshop, together with the youth of Twin Towers Street, launched a "coffee grounds graffiti" competition. First, they carefully draw the outline with a pencil on the white paper, then brush the white glue on the lines with a small brush, sprinkle the coffee grounds evenly, and finally gently press and shake to let the coffee grounds without white glue fall, and a simple coffee grounds sand painting is born. Although it sounds easy, it is not easy to draw it well. first of all, the lines of the white glue should be uniform, and the coffee grounds should be coated with glue on the edge, so as to prevent the white glue from becoming worse when it dries. Of course, the most important thing is to have a good creative composition.
For coffee dregs sand painting, everyone thinks it is very interesting. In just two hours, more than 20 pictures of coffee grounds sprang up on the paper. It is reported that in addition to painting, coffee grounds can also be used for potted plant fertilization, as well as kitchen and toilet odor absorption and strong decontamination. They hope to use the coffee grounds sand painting activity as a platform to let more people understand the various wonderful uses of coffee grounds and put them into practice in daily life.
