Many guests went to a Starbucks coffee shop in Toronto because there was a talented barista who could draw a cartoon of a guest's portrait on a paper cup in a short time.
According to CBC, at the Starbucks store in Eglinton Avenue East folder Warden Avenue, barista Jason Tocewicz can place an order and draw a portrait of the guest on a paper cup in 30 to 45 seconds, and then transfer the cup to another barista.
Totzwitz said that at first he didn't want to make it public, but just painted secretly. Later, his paintings became more and more popular, and guests kept asking him to paint. Now he draws more than ten to twenty cartoons every day according to his busy work. He can usually finish a work in 30 seconds and 10 Murray in 15 seconds.
Totzwitz has worked at Starbucks for 10 years and the Scarborough store for seven years. He said that at first he painted portraits to prevent the guest cups from getting mixed up. The reason why he can continue to paint is that he continues to receive positive feedback from the guests. I remember a female guest told him that she felt bad one day, but when she left the shop, she immediately changed her mood when she saw her portrait on the paper cup. The female guest came to the store a year later, cried and told him about it, and said, "you have no idea what a warm thing you have done for me."
As Tozwitz's works are very popular with guests, he often takes advantage of his spare time to draw cartoons with various themes and colors on paper cups and share them on Instagram.
