Coffee is fragrant, apples are sweet, what is your product like?
What we are going to talk about today is the introduction of the product. I don't know if you have this experience, when we were walking on the road, we suddenly smelled the aroma of coffee, slowly drifting in. When our noses follow the aroma, we can always see a coffee shop, which could be costa or Starbucks. At this time, I can't help but go in and buy a cup of coffee, sit there, or taste it in my hand. Of course, baked sweet potatoes and popcorn can have the same effect. Why? Because its aroma sketches a picture in my mind, a picture that makes me feel happy. (not foodie can't understand, the same kind of second to understand) so how do you describe your product to your customers!
Here I would like to introduce a concept called five sense sales. The five senses refer to sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. Many products can be described by this, five-sense sales method. But you will also find that some products are not suitable, for example, when we say software products, it is difficult for you to say, is it sweet or salty? But you can describe it in terms of sight, hearing, and touch. Vision, here refers to his man-machine picture, hearing, refers to some of the internal sound, touch refers to the use of your mouse, and the use of various buttons. For example, Microsoft system, you will see its four bright colors put together the logo, you will also hear its boot when the classic Microsoft music. You will also think of the classic operation of many systems in your mind. So, when you describe a software system, can you embody it like Microsoft?
Five sense sales, let's give another example. If I asked you to introduce a baby food, which of the five senses would you use?
Yes, all five senses can be used.
Vision, you can use the pictures of the product introduction, the use of samples, so that customers have the first step of visual experience.
Hearing, can take advantage of children, smiling voice. Parents, those babbling voices when feeding their children baby food. To show how much the child likes to eat this food.
Smell, when the baby food is opened, there should be a faint aroma but not too strong, because we all know that it is baby food, its taste can not be too strong. For example, rice paste, when you open it, it is powdered and there is a faint smell of rice coming out of the bag.
Tactile, we need to use, let customers personally come into contact with this product, hand-made a bowl of rice paste to complete the tactile experience.
Taste, taste for yourself, give the child another taste, this is the taste experience.
So now a lot of marketing, will use experiential marketing. Experiential marketing, as the name implies, means that customers can really experience the process of using the product, the pleasure of using it, and the convenience it brings to them. I have to say here that the very famous documentary, China on the tip of the tongue, detonated the hot purchase of local cuisine on Taobao. Many people are looking at the tip of the tongue of China immediately after Taobao search to issue an order, why? Because when you watch this documentary, you can see the sound of bubbling in the hot pot, the heat and the happiness on people's faces after eating that delicious food.
When we use the five senses to describe and make the customers have a great interest in the products, the next step is to enable the customers to buy our products and make a deal with us. Well, this one does not belong to the content that gives customers a sense of trust, which we will describe in detail in the next article.
