If you're not a heavy coffee drinker, or just want to enjoy a relaxing coffee break after a busy day at work, these three coffee makers are perfect for you.

There is no shortage of ways to make coffee. If you have no taste or shame about your coffee taste, or even the trans fats in your coffee mate, drink instant coffee. Of course, you can also choose from a coffee percolator with a heated surface, a coffee maker, a manual pour coffee machine, and a unique coffee press, but if you want to drink an energetic black drink every morning conveniently (and don't want to spend a lot of money for it), you may need to buy a coffee machine.

There are hundreds of coffee machines, some good, some bad, and most middling. To find out which ones are worth your money, Sam Kieldsen, editor of Stuff.com, did a lot of testing--and drank a lot of coffee--and recommended four. But picky "stunner" editors think one of them is not suitable for Chinese consumers in terms of appearance, price and convenience, so this article only recommends three of them.

Panasonic NC-ZA1 (domestic price 7821.00 yuan)

Suitable for people: lazy but unique taste espresso lovers

Panasonic NC-ZA1 is a coffee machine that turns coffee beans into espresso: it uses whole coffee beans, grinds them, and mixes hot water with these ground coffee beans under a certain pressure to make a cup of fragrant coffee. However, the similarities with other coffee machines end there, because unlike older espresso machines, almost the entire process of the NC-ZA1 is automated-and can be controlled via a touch screen.

You don't even need to worry about coffee grounds right away: they fall straight into a small box that needs to be cleaned regularly. Just like the 1.4L tank, this box slides out the front of the machine, meaning you don't have to move the machine away from the wall and struggle to extract the residue box from the back of the machine every few cups of coffee you make. This is a good design, especially for tanks that often need water: every time you turn on the machine, the tank automatically flushes from the pipe to keep it clean, which may be a bit of a fuss, but it ensures that every cup of coffee NC-ZA1 makes is so delicious.

The first espresso we made was a bit disappointing: too much water and too little flavor. "Maybe the machine can't make good coffee," we muttered. But the second glass was much better: rich, silky texture with an extra layer of attractive foam. That's on par with Sage coffee machines, which are more expensive but require more manual operation.

The coffee maker comes with a straw that goes into the milk can (or Panasonic's optional "milk can" accessory), so you can make a cup of milk coffee or foam your coffee. You can also adjust the ratio of coffee, water and milk and the temperature before making coffee, and you can pre-store four personal preferences in the machine. Besides, you can also use hot water quickly made by the machine to make tea.

Cleaning of the machine is basically done by default (the machine will alert you when it needs to be cleaned), although the brewing kit needs to be removed regularly for cleaning (but as mentioned earlier, the residue box can be easily removed from the front).

Touch screens are relatively ordinary (resistive rather than capacitive, so you have to apply some force to sense correctly), but that's enough for your use. If you are interested in advanced design, the overall machine design will suit you.

Considering this is Panasonic's first product on a coffee maker, it's pretty amazing. The overall shape is a bit large, and the tank needs to be constantly refilled due to the rinsing function to keep it clean, but otherwise the NC-ZA1 is an excellent coffee bean processing coffee machine.

Coffee from the Future! The robot barista is already great, but panasonic could be even more perfect with a few tweaks.

Delong Nestle Jovia series capsule coffee machine (domestic price 815.00 yuan)

For the crowd: busy but not so busy business people who love instant coffee.

Slender and sleek, the Jovia range uses the Nestle Dolce Gusto® capsule coffee design to position itself between lazy convenience and rigorous coffee making.

It's reasonably priced (£ 70 on Argos at the time of writing; a Dolce Gusto box of 16 capsules costs around £ 4) and easy to assemble and use: first fill the removable tank with cold water, put your favorite coffee capsule flavor into the slide-out capsule holder, place the cup under the nozzle and press the switch. Then, when the light changes from red to green (in just a few seconds), the coffee maker is ready, and you can select the lever to turn left and right, cold water on the left and hot water on the right, until you fill up the coffee you need. Finally, slide out the capsule holder, remove the used capsules and throw them away.

This is the capsule coffee machine, which requires almost no cleaning and maintenance of the machine except for the occasional emptying of the drip tank, flushing of the removable tank and filling of the water tank. Jovia series tanks are not large (0.8L), so you need to fill the tank more frequently. The drip position is adjustable-you can choose between three positions depending on the height of the cup to avoid coffee leakage.

This coffee machine does not contain steam nozzles that heat milk and make milk foam, but Dolce Gusto's capsule coffee has its own unique way. Some coffee drinks such as cappuccino and latte are made from two capsules: one coffee capsule and one specialty milk capsule, with detailed dosage ratio instructions on the cap. I'm sure you agree that milk in capsules doesn't taste as good as fresh milk, but it doesn't take much effort or make a mess.

How does the coffee made by this capsule coffee machine taste? It's actually delicious, especially when you choose espresso coffee, which comes out with a nice layer of foam on top, and it's hard not to think about how it's made. Sure, coffee lovers can beat Jovia coffee makers in taste with the £ 25 Philharmonic coffee press, but it's convenient and easy to use.

Summary: Jovia series capsule coffee machine is not suitable for heavy coffee drinkers, but its simplicity is very attractive, affordable and approachable.

Morphy Richards espresso machine (domestic price 1080.00 yuan)

For people: aspiring baristas who start by making espresso quickly.

A larger, heavier and sturdier option than Jovia. The Morphy Richards coffee maker, part of the company's line of specialty kitchen appliances, also looks cool, with a brushed metallic front curve and drip groove. In terms of size, it is also compact enough to fit easily on a table in a traditional cabinet.

A proper coffee machine should be able to make single or double shots of espresso. Morphy Richards has two nozzles that allow you to make two cups of coffee at once, a professional steam nozzle to foam the milk, and a fairly good 1.2 liter tank capacity, which means you don't have to refill after making three cups of coffee. In addition to ground coffee, it can also be used with E.S.E. Capsule coffee (we haven't been able to test this feature, but they are designed like regular espresso coffee and we believe they should work fine).

After tasting the espresso and latte made by this coffee machine, we were quite satisfied. The production of milk foam is not particularly excellent, but the coffee made under 15kpa pressure is delicious and smooth, and the milk foam on the surface also has a beautiful color.

Compared to Jovia, this coffee machine requires more cleaning and careful maintenance, you need to wipe the foam nozzle after each use, but it is really simple to operate, only three buttons (coffee, strength, milk heating control) and one knob (foam making) need to be used.

Morphy Richards coffee machines are fairly inexpensive compared to coffee machines of the same standard, making this ideal and affordable coffee machine the first choice for enjoying the world's best home espresso makers.

Summary: A practical and good appearance, cost-effective coffee machine, so that you completely bid farewell to instant coffee and coffee pot brewing way.
