Mandarin Coffee comes from the island of Sumatra. Sumatran Manning Coffee is famous for its slippery and thick taste, sometimes even described as syrup. Generally speaking, Sumatran coffee has relatively low acidity, but its flavor is complex. Manning usually shows strong nutty, adjustable, and sometimes flavors such as licorice and other spices.
The name of Manning Coffee comes from a local aboriginal tribe in Indonesia, not a place name. It is said that during World War II, the Japanese drank a mellow coffee in Indonesia, so they asked the coffee shop owner the name of coffee, but the coffee shop owner reported himself and replied, "Mandaining." In Japanese pronunciation, "Mandaining" is very similar to "Mantenin", so he remembered "Mantenin". In times of peace, the Japanese found merchant friends and asked local Indonesian businessmen to look for manning coffee and imported several tons back to Japan. Because of its unique flavor, Manning coffee is popular in Japan and is also famous all over the world.
The unique flavor of Mantenin is caused by Sumatra's unique post-processing of raw coffee beans, which is closely related to the local climatic and economic conditions. Sumatra often rains, the sun needs insufficient conditions, and washing requires a lot of money. In the absence of both, the semi-washing method of wet planing is derived.
On the day the coffee is picked, the farmer removes the peel and flesh of the coffee, and then puts it in a pool to ferment for one night. Introduce clean water the next day, wash the pectin layer, and then lay it aside to dry. In the case of semi-dry and semi-wet, put away the shell beans and sell them to a nearby coffee processing station.
After receiving the semi-dry and semi-wet shell beans, the coffee processing station will first remove the sheep's skin, expose the raw beans directly, and then dry them. When the water content of raw coffee beans drops to about 13%, it will be put away and stored.
On the other hand, the aged Mantenin coffee is stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse for 2 to 3 years after the wet planing method is completed, during which time the beans need to be turned regularly and moldy and rotten. After a long period of storage, some of the acid in the coffee beans will slowly turn into sugar, and the color of the raw beans will become darker, mostly yellowish brown or dark brown.
The types of Mantenin in Qianjie are PWN Gold Manning, Lin Dong Manning, Tiger Manning, Old Manning, Sun Manning.

Indonesia's PWN company will "gold manning" registered trademark, that is to say, only PWN company's gold manning is the real sense of gold manning. PWN Gold Manning from Qianjie is the highest grade G1, with raw bean particle size of more than 18 mesh and defect rate of less than 3 per 300g raw bean. PWN has a very strict standard in the production of gold manning, and after machine screening, it needs to go through three manual selection processes to ensure that the defective beans are fully identified, thus improving the cleanliness and sweetness of gold mantenin coffee.
