According to the structure, the process is analyzed: pressing the piston push rod can pressurize the water storage. under the pressure, the hot water is pressed into the cooking chamber, and the end of the tank is a pressurized valve. When the water pressure in the coffee powder chamber reaches a certain value, continue to enter the water. Coffee will flow out of the small hole at the end of the fuselage.
With the frequency of pressing once a second, repeat all the time, you can complete the process of making coffee, the operation is very simple.
The quality of espresso made by Minipresso is reasonable.
Although the booster valve at the end solves the constant pressure of extraction to some extent, because there is no external consumables such as electricity or gas cylinders, but manual-driven pistons are used to pressurize the water supply, so the extraction process is carried out many times in stages. The interval between multiple stages depends entirely on the frequency of human pressure. this cup of coffee is actually a mixture of several stages of coffee water with different degrees of extraction.
So, just like the cup in my photo, the color is not very uniform. Of course, I should also consider the factor that I am not skilled in operation. Because the photo was taken when the coffee was made for the first time, the height of the machine from the cup was not well controlled, and there was some spatter, so some extra bubbles were produced.
The coffee produced is rich in oil, and it is not sour if you sit for half a minute before drinking it. Therefore, as a whole, in addition to the more professional semi-automatic coffee machine, the taste is too light and the flavor is insufficient. It's quite satisfying.

And because minipresso's whole body is made of plastic, you can wash it with water under the faucet and wash it inside and out in less than a minute. Don't worry about it.
Although thanks to excellent portability, you can take it anywhere you want, but you must remember to bring the hot water necessary for making coffee and try to keep the temperature around 90 degrees. So from this point of view, the best use scenario is probably on a variety of vehicles with boiled water, in a hotel or in an office without a coffee maker.
As long as you bring a little coffee powder, you can use minipresso to make espresso and add some milk. Well, even thinking about it is much higher than drinking instant coffee!
P.S. Advanced explanation, the rich oil to a certain extent due to the booster valve, booster valve is actually used in some household semi-automatic coffee machine handle, the purpose is to increase coffee oil to improve visual performance. But if the coffee powder you use is not fresh, the fat will not last as long as mine.
