Xiao qu would like to introduce two cold ways that are simple and can retain the characteristics of individual coffee. The first is ice droplets. Although ice droplets take a long time to wait, as long as they are made before going to bed the day before, they will be able to go to work with fresh drops of iced coffee the next morning.

Ice drop

First of all, let's prepare the right amount of coffee powder. The coffee powder used by the housekeeper here weighs 20 grams and the grinding scale is two sizes smaller than that of hand flushing. It feels like fine sand on the beach. After Xiaoqu's experiment, the coffee filtered out in this way will not be too strong and can feel the changes in the level of flavor. But if you like the mellow taste of iced coffee, you might as well boldly increase the amount of coffee powder and increase the concentration.

Then we put the powdered filter cup into the glass pot, put on the dripping device, pour the ice and mix it with cold water, and the amount of water touches a small water indicator arrow on the device. Iwaki's outlet design allows a significant time difference for each drop of water. The only thing to note is that using ice water or adding ice sometimes stops the dripping process, so you can use a toothpick to clear it from below the dripping outlet. Or use cold water drip to put in the refrigerator freezer will not encounter this situation.

The equipment we need to prepare for ice is also quite simple. In addition to the usual utensils we need to make coffee, we just need to prepare an extra bottom pot filled with ice to cool our coffee. Because ice will be used to cool down later, the coffee can be made a little stronger than usual to avoid melting ice and weakening the coffee.

Be sure to prepare too much ice. if it is too little, the coffee will melt before it is cooled, and the coffee will become lighter. In order to relieve the heat, you must not be polite, rapid cooling can also properly retain the balanced aroma of coffee.

Next, pour the brewed coffee into the ice and cool it down very quickly. The butler has also tried to fill the pot with ice and let the brewing coffee drop directly on the ice to cool down. The feeling of drinking in the two ways is poor, we think that if we first brew the complete coffee and then chill it again, the sour taste will not be so obvious and the sweetness will be improved, and the overall coffee will be relatively balanced.
