In a cup of coffee, it has special caffeine in addition to its flavor. Caffeine affects our mental state. Here's my understanding of caffeine content:

The content of caffeine is mainly affected by coffee beans. In addition, if it is the same coffee bean, then the extraction time and temperature become the biggest factor affecting caffeine content. After my personal research, hand coffee > ice drop coffee > espresso.

This conclusion is for reference only. I think the content of caffeine is affected by the time and water temperature of coffee extraction.

The highest caffeine content in hand flushing is due to its long extraction time and relatively high water temperature.

Secondly, when it comes to iced coffee, some people may think that how to extract caffeine at such a low temperature? Although the temperature of the ice drop is low, it takes as long as 4 hours, or even 8 hours, and its extraction ratio usually reaches 1:10, using more coffee powder. To quote a Latin saying: the amount of poison determines the amount of poison.

Finally, there is espresso. The extraction ratio of espresso reaches 1:2, but because of its very short extraction time, the extraction is completed in just 20 seconds. In my personal opinion, most caffeine is extracted before it even has a chance to react.
