Panama Finca Deborah Geisha

Finca Deborah is an energy autonomous estate. The treatment plant is powered by solar energy, and at this remote location at high altitude, the traditional power system cannot supply the power required by the treatment plant, so the estate finds its own way to generate electricity. As a result, the estate has been able to maintain the integrity and uniqueness of the environment. In addition, as a shady plantation estate, Deborah blends with the mountain scenery of the area, maintaining the original natural environment and maintaining the living area of local birds and wildlife.

Located at an extremely high altitude of 1900 meters in the volcanic region of Chiriki Province, Deborah's geisha can be grown in pure conditions, and it is one of the most remote and highest estates, where night temperatures can reach around 10 degrees Celsius. Extreme altitudes and cold temperatures slow the growth rate of coffee trees and allow them to produce more nutrients, thus allowing them to grow harder and more solid (dense) beans.

Finca Deborah is sheltered by rainforest, creating a beautiful and natural environment rich in rare species of flora and fauna. No gas-powered machines are used at all, and the use of chemical pesticides and herbicides is strictly controlled. Greater use of natural organic fertilizers to maintain a balanced growth between coffee trees and trees. Because the estate is located at a high altitude, the spread of disease is minimized. Temperature not only inhibits fungal growth and the production of other harmful diseases. Coffee trees, on the other hand, are able to put their nutrients and energy into the fruit, rather than protecting themselves from disease and pests. These advantages also help the operation of the estate, enabling it to reduce operating and production fluctuation costs, thus providing quality and affordable coffee beans.
