In the past two years, the top three prizes in the Brazilian Outstanding Cup Competition have almost been awarded by Huang Bourbon, becoming the new darling of the boutique coffee industry.
Introduction to yellow Bourbon Huang Bourbon:
It is a yellow bark variety (bourbon variety) peculiar to the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Generally, coffee cherries will turn red after ripening and will not turn red after ripening, hence the name orange. Very sweet and touching!
Orange chocolate, apple, brown sugar and hazelnut syrup, the acidity is supple and sweet, the taste is rich and mellow! A very delightful coffee, highly recommended!
Introduction of coffee producing areas in Brazil
Traditionally, Brazil distinguishes the origin of coffee by province: (Brazil has 21 states and 17 states produce coffee, but five of them produce the largest, accounting for 98% of Brazil's total output.)
There is a wide variety of coffee in Brazil, and like other Arabica coffee, the vast majority of Brazilian coffee is not washed but dried, classified according to the name of the state of origin and the port of transport.
There are five different provinces / producing areas:
Parana (Parana)
Sao Paulo (Sao Paulo)
Rio
Esprito (Espirito Santo)
Bashiya (Bahia)

With the establishment of the Brazilian Fine Coffee Association (BSCA), it has changed the difference between the five major provinces in the past. in order to distinguish each geographical environment and microclimatic conditions into coffee beans with their own characteristics, the Brazilian Fine Coffee Association began to make more refined classification and nomenclature, and the labeling of micro-producing areas enabled coffee beans to be traced back to more detailed and accurate production resumes.
