Free Pour Latte Art Advanced Barista Technique Handbook

Author: Yoshi Sawa

Publisher: Ruisheng

Yoshi Sawada is the founder of STREAMER COFFEE COMPANY () in Japan. Currently, he is a well-known barista, flower artist, coffee trainer and coffee consultant in Japan. He won the 2008 Seattle International Coffee Flower Competition with the highest score in history and was also the first Asian champion in the competition.

If you are interested in drawing, believe him, this book "Free Pour Latte Art" is a great self-study tool. This book does not simply teach readers how to pull flowers, but from the beginning of the use of Italian coffee machine coffee metering/distribution, hand filling method, extraction process, milk foam method, to the milk injection control method, all with text description with the principle of illustration, which for the use of Italian coffee machine brewing coffee players, there is a base or correction method.

In addition to the basic type of flower pulling (Rosetta leaf, heart shape, etc.), the book also guides readers on how to mix and match. The latter half contains a variety of perfect art drawings over the years, which are of great reference value to players who love drawing flowers.

Another reason I would recommend his book is that Yoshi Sawada won the 2008 Seattle International Coffee Blossom Contest and donated all of his prize money of US$5,000 (about NT$146,000) to the poor coffee-producing countries of the world.
