How to Make Fine Milk Foam Italian Coffee

I think the supermarket sells bubblers, less than a hundred? Or at home have bubble tea pot (glass tea bubble open, pot lid is stainless steel, will flower tea squeeze down the kind) microwave heating milk seven points hot (do not roll) into the pot and then almost on the pot lid, pot lid steel rod up and down repeatedly squeeze milk, up and down about ten times will cause bubble!

If there is really no one, just find a sealed empty jar, microwave the milk to seven points hot, pour it into the empty jar, tighten it, and then use all the power of the wild, shake it hard, remember not to fill it too much, leave a little gap and air, and shake it for about ten minutes (if the hand is not broken).

These two practices are suitable for emergency or occasional application at home, if you need to make regularly, it is recommended to buy a simple milk beater or milk frother bar, with a smaller egg beater can be.

You can also make your own latte at home with simple utensils.

1. Make coffee first. I didn't have an espresso machine at home, so I couldn't extract espresso, which was made by hand using filter paper.

The ratio is about 12g coffee beans out of 100ml coffee solution, which is the amount after concentration, originally 12g can be out of about 130- 150 ml coffee. The above picture is 24g beans, I grind the flour is relatively coarse, if a little more grinding, the coffee will taste more intense. 24g of beans make 200ml of coffee solution, which is exactly the amount of two lattes.

There are many ways of hand flushing. After going to class, learn to flush to the end. The miscellaneous smell of the rear section of the hand flushing is successfully controlled, but the water column should be controlled very fine, which is quite tiring. But, the moment coffee enters the mouth, all the hand acid is worth it.

The coffee that comes out is dark in color, and it will rub delicious sparks with the milk foam later.

2. And then make the foam. There is no steam milk bubble machine at home, it doesn't matter, there is a very good tool, called "double milk bubble cup," as long as it takes a little effort, you can make the same effect as high-pressure steam. (The downside is that it will produce more bubbles)

The image above is a 200c.c foam cup, the same one I use. First pour 200c.c milk into it, heat it to about 65 degrees C (gas oven insulated heating, or directly with an induction cooker), and then quickly pull the top pull, milk foam is finished.

The following video has a pretty clear explanation, you can refer to.

The actual foam results are not bad...

It's very dense-except for the big bubbles on the surface... If you're fussy, just scrape it off with a spoon, because it's just me and Lao Zhang, so I just shake the glass & tap the table to reduce the bubbles.

All right... Pour the foam into a coffee cup, it's a home made latte--

Remarks:

1. If you want to pursue the feel of an espresso machine, you can use heavy roasted beans, plus stainless steel mesh filter cup, retain coffee ester, coffee taste will be more mellow.

2. Espresso is also available as an alternative-coffee balls. Japanese supermarket for sale. But it has a high caffeine content, and opinions vary.

3. Make sure you use whole milk to make it frothy. Milk is easier to foam when heated, but if you want to make an iced latte, you can skip the heating process. But the foam isn't pretty--

4. My ratio is----coffee 100ml + fresh milk 100ml ------so do not use latte cup or latte bowl, with a larger capacity at home bone china cup, about 250c.c.

5. If you want to challenge the pull flower, you can choose a pull flower cup with a pointed mouth.

6. There is also a kind of painting version, which can sprinkle cocoa powder or cinnamon powder in different patterns, which is very interesting.
