Manning coffee comes from North Sumatra and belongs to Arabica beans. The famous golden manning coffee beans are produced in the Gayo mountain area.
Manning has a very thick taste, which makes people feel very comfortable. It is a bitter flavor of herbs, nuts, dark chocolate and caramel, with a mature flavor. But if the hand is not made well, the taste of Manning coffee will also be thin. Hand grindability of Manning Coffee
The degree of grinding is the most important parameter in hand-brewed coffee, and the coffee made by many people tastes bad, mostly because of the problem with the degree of grinding. Because Mantenin coffee beans are generally roasted in depth, their structure is looser and it is easier to absorb water and release coffee substances, so thicker particles are ground. Measured by the No. 20 sieve, the grinding degree of Mantenin coffee is 70%. (80% of ordinary light-roasted coffee beans)
The ratio of powder to water in Manning coffee
1:15 is recommended on Qianjie, and although some suggest a powder-to-water ratio of 1:13 or less, Qianjie's previous articles have shown that there is no inevitable relationship between concentration and alcohol thickness. And being too strong can cause discomfort. Therefore, the use of 1:15 powder-water ratio can also show the mellow taste of Mantenin.
Brewing temperature of Manning Coffee
Brewing Manning coffee in front of the street is recommended to use 86-88 degrees, too high water temperature is easy to rush out of the bitter taste, too low water temperature is difficult to brew a mellow taste.
Suggestion on the filter cup of brewing Manning coffee
The front street chose the Kono Mingmen filter cup. The biggest feature of the Kono filter cup is that the ribs extend from the bottom to the middle, and the upper part is a smooth filter cup wall, so that when the filter paper is glued to the filter cup, the water can not "sneak" around the coffee powder to improve the thickness of the taste.
In addition to Kono filter cup, cake filter cup and fan filter cup can also increase the alcohol thickness of coffee.
The brewing method of Manning coffee
The brewing method uses three-stage water injection, which is divided into three stages to better show the mellow taste of golden Manning coffee and the sweetness of caramel. The specific distribution of water injection is the first stage of steaming water injection 30ml, this stage of water injection all wet coffee powder, exhaust, in order to better extract the flavor substances of coffee, the second stage injected 100ml, the last stage injected 95ml to improve the sweetness of coffee, showing a thick mellow taste, the sweetness of caramel and the flavor of chocolate and nuts.
