Barista _ barista training _ barista skills

Coffee course is a very popular course in Impact. This course has a total of five weeks. What on earth is the seemingly short course? Basic understanding of coffee sources, coffee production, coffee shop work English conversation skills, resume writing and interview skills, etc., after the beginning of class, I deeply feel that every day is very fulfilling for five weeks!

On the first day of the course, I was lucky to get to know each other with students from Japan, Mexico and Taiwan who also like coffee or want to learn coffee making, and they shared their expectations and expectations for this course. The first class will introduce the contents of the five-week course, including understanding the origin of coffee varieties, coffee types, learning to describe coffee, basic restaurant food and dessert words, food adjectives, Dip tasting, cheese tasting (Cheese Tasting) and red wine tasting (Wine Tasting) courses, visiting coffee factories, coffee shops, Melbourne chocolates, and of course, working in a coffee shop requires hygienic knowledge. In addition to classes and exercises at Impact, there are three classes at William Angliss Catering School to learn about coffee, coffee machine use and coffee making, as well as internships in coffee shops and bakeries. Impact has two teachers teaching in turn every week, and the small-class coffee class gives each student enough time to learn and practice different kinds of coffee making.

In the first week of class, we learned about the varieties of coffee beans and most of the coffee growing areas. The teacher also showed us the coffee shop in Melbourne, where we learned to order coffee Latte, Cappuccino and Mocha, which are different from those we used to drink, and to learn about different coffee making methods such as Expresso, Single origin, Cold drip, Batch brew and so on. The basic structure and common words of the coffee machine are also introduced. At the beginning of the second week, the whole day class went to William Angliss early in the morning. Professional baristas taught us the basic coffee making process and the teaching of watching coffee making films. The class went to Victoria Market to buy coffee beans from different places and conducted functional evaluation. I like this part very much because I can know more about the kind and variety of coffee I like. In the third week of the course, we learned all the types of coffee common in coffee shops in William Angliss, and the teacher also taught us how to memorize abbreviations and basic restaurant hygiene. Cheese tasting courses once again go to the Victorian market near the school to buy different kinds of cheese, you need to introduce the sources and characteristics of the cheese purchased. This week, I visited the famous coffee roasting factory in Melbourne to learn about the roasting and Cupping of coffee beans. At the beginning of the fourth week, every student needs to go to the coffee shop for an internship in the morning, and he will feel full every day. This week also learned about consumer service, in class, there are waiters and customers role-playing, consumer complaints and other plot exercises. In class, there are also practical operations to complete the three cups of coffee designated by the teacher within a specified period of time, and practice how to serve the plate and coffee. In the last week of the fifth week, the teacher will demonstrate the skills of Latte art, and each student can make a basic heart-shaped flower. In the wine tasting course, each student needs to be prepared to introduce the designated alcoholic beverage. in the class, there will be alcoholic tasting to understand the name, origin and characteristics of different alcoholic beverages. Learn resume writing and practice interview English dialogue. At the same time, he also practiced selling coffee at school to make his coffee skills more and more sophisticated.

I learned a lot from Impact's coffee course. Looking back over the past five weeks, I knew nothing about coffee. I could make a latte with a little love on it. I felt very fulfilling and fulfilled from morning till night. I was happy to study with such a passionate and energetic Barista class. I liked Impact's Barista course very much and saw my growth and progress.

I interact with Christina at the Australian backpacker Center of ABC in Taichung.

I can only say that I am very lucky to know the Christina of Taichung ABC! From the beginning of the introduction of many language schools in Australia, curriculum planning and application process, Christina is very patient and detailed explanation, let me rest assured.

Christina invited me to listen to a lecture on a working holiday in Australia. From every photo of the film and slide she shared, I could feel that everyone had begun an incredible adventure story when they arrived in Australia, learning about the Australian way of life, seeing the beautiful natural scenery of Australia and meeting the bravest of themselves. The pre-departure presentation meeting also explained in great detail the sharing of experiences such as Australian Telecom, banking, life purchasing and so on, which made me feel that I was really going to leave for Australia. Although I was a little bold, I was afraid that I would not be able to adapt, and so on. After I had done my homework and began to plan my fantasy journey, I would find that I was really brave to take such a big step with my luggage. It is not far from the dream of studying abroad that I have wanted to accomplish since I was a child.

During my class in Melbourne, Christina will contact me and ask my language school teacher about my class. I remember that when I first arrived in Melbourne, I encountered a host family situation problem that I could not solve. Fortunately, with the help of Christina, I was able to learn how to communicate with host families in a friendly way. Whenever I study another course, Christina always sends a text message to care about it. I like to share my feelings about class and life with her. So far I have encountered a lot of problems in Australia, I do not understand the content part, will ask Christina, she is very enthusiastic to provide information and related information, Christina let me deeply feel that the 'three hearts' is very sweet, very assured and willing to pull.

There are many interesting stories about my fantastic journey in Australia. Apart from seeing many beautiful Australian scenery, the best things are the people I have met along the way and those who have been around to encourage me to help me, so as to make my story more wonderful. Thank you Christina and thank ABC!
