Introduction to the manor

Qingcheng Manor was one of the first estates in the Las Minas Mountains to grow high-altitude boutique coffee, and with the emergence of the C.O.E Cup in Guatemala, this emerging micro-production area began to have a place in the Cup. Located on the southern slopes of the Las Minas Mountains, the volcanic island chain in southern Guatemala insulates moisture from the Pacific Ocean, while the mountains to the north block moisture from the Atlantic Ocean, making the microclimate very dry. However, Qingcheng Manor has unique conditions, there is a gurgling mountain spring in the manor, so that the manor has abundant water throughout the year, irrigation and excellent washing treatment.

After four generations of efforts of the manor family, now Diancheng Manor has outstanding experience and wisdom in seed selection, planting, harvest and treatment. At the same time, the manor attaches great importance to environmental conservation: the use of solar-driven drying facilities, recycling water, earthworm incubation trough (natural composting to enhance soil fertility); and strive to improve the quality of life of manor workers: to provide medical assistance, education, living environment and related social welfare services.

Geographical location of the manor

In the past, coffee farms in Guatemala have been accustomed to mixing bourbon, Kaddura and Kaduai, which have achieved stable harvests and meet the complementarity of the three varieties. However, after several cup tests, we found that the Kaddura batches of 100% single variety sometimes stand out in terms of fullness of acid value, three-dimensional feeling, and the intensity of fruit flavor. This year, we introduce you to the 100% Kaddura batch of Qingcheng Manor, which has fruit flavors such as juicy cantaloupe and pear, with dark chocolate flavor in the end.
