Blue Mountain Coffee is known as the highest quality coffee bean in the world, but because of its limited planting area, its production accounts for only 1% of the world's total output. Compared with Indonesian coffee, African coffee and Central and South American coffee, Kona Coffee is as fresh, natural and gentle as a girl in the Hawaiian sun. Coupled with the addictive slightly sour characteristics, mixed aromas of wine, fruit and spices, and easy to taste, Kona Coffee has become a typical brand of coffee's charming and beloved premium coffee beans.
In Kona coffee beans, known as the highest quality Peaberry, a single round bean. Generally speaking, the fruit of coffee tree will produce two raw beans, but due to the influence of various factors, one of them develops and shrinks, resulting in the formation of only one original bean in the fruit. This naturally occurring precious bean will be selected and known as Peaberry. Because Peaberry will absorb twice as many nutrients and heat evenly during the baking process, it will have a stronger, purer taste than ordinary two raw beans. Peaberry accounts for only about 4 per cent of total production, so it is also more expensive than ordinary Kona coffee beans.
