Panama is located at the junction of North and South America, facing the Pacific Ocean on the left and the Atlantic Ocean on the right, so it has an important position as a bridge between the two oceans and occupies the key to this geography.

Since it became a Spanish colony in 1501, it began to build the famous "Panama Canal" until it was completed in 1914, because neighboring Costa Rica,Panama has many similarities with Costa Rica in the classification and even treatment of coffee beans.

Every year, Panama has two important events affecting the international coffee industry, namely, the famous "Best of Panama" and "Gashei" bidding.

Chiriki province is now the concentration area of Panamanian boutique coffee, and Boquete and Volcan near the Baru volcano are particularly famous. This is because the territory has four distinct seasons, there are fertile and mineral-rich volcanic soil, the terrain is high, and the annual rainfall can reach 3500mm, which is very suitable for the growth of Arabica coffee trees.

Located at a high altitude, Finca Santa Teresa, FST has a unique rich black volcanic soil and is moistened by Pacific and Atlantic winds at the same time, these advantages contribute to the quality of FST coffee. FST is located in a series of beautiful valleys and ridges, creating different microclimates and giving each micro-batch of high-quality coffee raw beans a different personality.

FST is located at an altitude of 1400-1800 meters, and coffee-growing plots are separated by natural vegetation, streams or vast primeval forests. Squirrel monkeys and more than 600 species of birds often appear with FST. Shangri-La Warriors International Park (La Amistad International Park), which adjoins the farm, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is jointly managed by Panama and neighboring Costa Rica.

St. Teresa Manor has also achieved good results in BOP many times, ranking third in the 2011 Geisha washing group and third in the Geisha tanning group in 2013.

St. Teresa Manor is dedicated to environmental conservation in addition to its outstanding performance in CoE. The coffee berries are carefully selected by workers and processed in their own processing plant.

The manor adopts environmentally friendly planting and raw bean disposal, all waste related to the production process is recycled as fertilizer or fuel, and water is taken from local streams. These environmental measures have been approved by the local environmental protection department of Panama.

In addition, they also spare no effort in local education. They join the non-profit organization Casa Esperanza to build school buildings, provide books and meals. The estate even has a school for employees and children, employs teachers from non-governmental organizations, and provides school buses to help children commute to school. This shows the dedication of the two landowners to local education.
