. Sidamo (Sidamo)
Sidamo is adjacent to Yega Sheffield, slightly lower than Yega Chuefei, and also has mineral-rich land with a distinct dry and wet season, making it very suitable for growing Arabica beans. Sidamo is mainly sun-dried beans, with the same aromas of orange and blue plum, as well as rich grape, slightly spicy, bright and lively. If you are a cancer man, do not like the limelight, like warmth and sincerity, Sidamo will be your favorite object.
The object of this test is Ethiopia Sunshine Sidamo.
Ethiopia is the origin of coffee. Sidamo and Yegashifi, which are common in cafes, are the names of Ethiopian producing areas. The flavor of each producing area also has its own characteristics.
The first time I got Sidamo's coffee, I thought it was quite fresh. According to the manufacturer's instructions, this is exported by the Sidamo Forest Coffee producers and Farmers Cooperative Union (Bench Maji Forest Coffee Producer Farmers' Cooperative Union Ltd), a company jointly established by more than 60 cooperatives.
There are many reasons for the establishment of cooperatives, sometimes because individuals grow less output, so centralized treatment, unified sales; sometimes in order to create brand value. Due to the full mix, we can not understand the reason for shaping its flavor from the concept of "micro-climate zone" of the general manor, but present the balanced characteristics of the whole large producing area.
Generally speaking, the source and flavor of coffee beans jointly produced by cooperatives are not as simple as those exported from a single manor. The taste of the previous drink may be very different from that of the second drink, but we can still find its characteristics by tasting it.
Sun Sidamo is grown in the primeval forests of southwestern Ethiopia, and coffee grown in this way usually has a strong resistance to diseases and insect pests. Diseases and insect pests have nothing to do with what we drink, only the difference in output and cost.
That's enough introduction. Let's talk about the flavor.
The flavor of the sun Sidamo is very strong, and you can smell heavy berries as soon as you open the bag, which is obviously the characteristic of sun beans. After grinding, it is even stronger, the sweetness is very prominent in the dry aroma, and there is a light nutty flavor, which is a more common type of Ethiopian coffee.
The date of baking is September 29, less than a week from today, and there is still a smoky smell from some baking.
After the water injection, there is a spicy smell of pepper, which I think is quite attractive. And its sweet fragrance floated in mid-air after steaming, scattered in the room like the essential oil of honey, and the aroma was excellent.
It is a pity that although there is the aroma of wine after water injection, it is relatively weak, while it seems that the baking is light and retains some flavor of potato and longan, which depends on the individual whether it is good or bad.
The initial sweet feeling of the sun Sidama is concentrated in the front and middle, while the sour taste is in the middle and back, which belongs to a relatively strong type. Its sweetness does not blend well with the sour taste and exists independently. But through a small taste to let the aroma gush out, the overall feeling is still very comfortable.
The bitter taste in the latter part is a little sticky, but it will soften gradually after the temperature drop.
After a period of time, its aroma fully showed in the nasal cavity, as if to let people see the golden fruit, slowly rise and then take a sip, only to find how shy it is, but it is a talented girl.
I think sunny Sidamo is a more suitable coffee to accompany work or rest. Its taste is not so pleasant when it is first introduced, but it has a balanced taste over time and still has a good performance.
To rush out to work, for immediate sexual satisfaction, turn left to Panama, Guatemala, or a simple latte. If you have time, you might as well pair it with a Bach unaccompanied cello suite and enjoy the afternoon.
